My approach
The most important element of effective therapy is the client/therapist relationship. I offer a free introductory session so we can get to know each other and you can feel comfortable starting your therapeutic journey with me.
Therapy is a collaborative process and the more you immerse yourself in the process, the greater the benefits and changes you will begin to see. I work with you to identify and reframe the limiting beliefs that have been holding you back from living the life you deserve.
I use a number of different therapeutic approaches to deliver a treatment programme which is tailored specifically to you and the goals you wish to achieve. These approaches include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Person-Centred Therapy. I am experienced in treating a wide range of emotional, behavioural and physiological conditions. I aim to provide a supportive, non-judgmental and calm space where you can talk through your concerns and develop strategies to overcome obstacles and build on your strengths.

“Claire helped me give up a habit I had been struggling with for over 20 years. I wondered how effective online therapy would be but I found I was able to relax more in the comfort of my own home. Claire is so supportive, calm and caring and really helped me to understand that I wasn’t ‘giving up’ smoking but gaining health, vitality and a more effective way of coping with my anxiety.”

“I had been putting off facing my problems with self-esteem and anxiety for years. COVID-19 and working from home gave me the time and motivation to look for help. I love the convenience of online therapy, especially when I was feeling isolated and alone during lockdown. Claire helped me to see how my intrusive thoughts were stopping me from doing so many things I used to enjoy and helped me build my confidence up so I am now looking forward to making new friends and, hopefully, finding a relationship after many years alone.”
